The Stainless Steel Process
Full-Scale Foam Model
A 1:1 foam master defines the sculpture’s proportions, compound curves and panel divisions.
Precision Cutting
Numbered stainless steel panel blanks are cut according to templates taken from the full-scale model.
Hand Forming
Each panel is hammered and planished by hand to match its corresponding curved section.
Internal Framework
A reinforced metal skeleton is fabricated to support the sculptural form and mounting structure.
Panel Assembly
Formed panels are positioned over the framework, aligned and precisely welded together.
Mirror Polishing
Welds are refined through progressive sanding before mirror polishing and final surface inspection.
