Origin Sculpture Limited Warranty
Last Updated: August 16, 2026
Skilled artisans individually handcraft every Origin Sculpture artwork. Our sculptures are created to provide lasting structural integrity, material quality, and aesthetic value in their intended indoor or outdoor environments.
This Limited Warranty explains the coverage available for eligible defects under normal use, proper installation, and appropriate maintenance.
1. Warranty Coverage by Material
Warranty coverage begins on the date the sculpture is delivered to the original purchaser.
| Product or Component | Limited Warranty Period |
|---|---|
| Stainless Steel Sculpture — Natural Finish | 3 Years |
| Stainless Steel Sculpture — Painted Finish | 2 Years |
| Stainless Steel Sculpture — Electroplated Finish | 1 Year |
| Bronze Sculpture | 3 Years |
| Marble or Natural Stone Sculpture | 3 Years |
| Marble Fountain — Stone Structure | 3 Years |
| Fiberglass Sculpture | 1 Year |
| Water Pump and Plumbing Components | 1 Year |
For projects supplied under a separate written contract, quotation, specification sheet, or project-specific warranty, the terms of that document will take precedence if they differ from this policy.
2. What This Limited Warranty Covers
Subject to the conditions and exclusions below, this warranty covers verified defects resulting from:
- Defective materials used during production;
- Workmanship or manufacturing defects;
- Structural defects occurring under normal and intended use;
- Failure of welds, joints, or fabricated components caused by a production defect;
- Abnormal peeling, separation, or delamination of an applied finish caused by improper production; and
- Defects in covered pumps or plumbing components occurring during the applicable warranty period.
The existence of a defect will be determined after Origin Sculpture reviews the product, installation, maintenance history, environmental conditions, and supporting evidence.
3. Conditions of Coverage
This Limited Warranty applies only when:
- The claimant is the original purchaser;
- The sculpture was purchased directly from Origin Sculpture or through an authorized sales channel;
- The sculpture was installed on a stable, suitable foundation by qualified personnel;
- Installation followed the approved drawings, specifications, anchoring requirements, and intended placement;
- The sculpture was used in the environment for which it was designed;
- Reasonable inspection, cleaning, drainage, winterization, and preventive maintenance were performed;
- No modification materially affecting the sculpture was made after delivery; and
- Valid proof of purchase and order information are provided.
Customers should follow the applicable recommendations in our Sculpture Care & Maintenance Guide. Failure to perform reasonable maintenance does not automatically cancel all warranty coverage, but damage caused or worsened by inadequate maintenance is not covered.
4. Handcrafted and Natural Material Characteristics
Every sculpture is individually handcrafted. Minor variations may occur between the completed artwork and product photographs, samples, digital renderings, or approved visual references.
Normal handcrafted or material characteristics may include variations in:
- Color, texture, finish, casting, detailing, dimensions, and symmetry;
- Weld finishing, polishing, brush direction, or reflected appearance;
- Bronze patina, including gradual darkening, oxidation, or the development of green tones;
- Natural stone veining, mineral deposits, pores, fissures, tonal differences, and surface texture; and
- Surface appearance caused by light, humidity, temperature, or surrounding environmental conditions.
These variations contribute to the individual character of a handcrafted artwork and are not considered manufacturing defects.
In particular, bronze patina and verdigris are natural reactions between bronze and its environment. Their appearance and development rate vary by climate and exposure and are not covered as defects.
5. What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover damage, deterioration, or appearance changes resulting from:
- Normal wear, weathering, oxidation, patina development, fading, or material aging;
- Minor handcrafted variations or natural material characteristics;
- Improper installation, anchoring, foundation preparation, drainage, handling, or relocation;
- Installation on unstable, uneven, or unsuitable ground;
- Incorrect assembly or failure to follow the approved installation specifications;
- Improper cleaning, neglected maintenance, or the use of abrasive or corrosive products;
- Exposure to chlorine, salt, chemicals, fertilizers, irrigation overspray, industrial pollutants, or highly corrosive environments unless specifically approved in writing;
- Coastal, pool, fountain, or marine exposure for which the sculpture was not specifically designed;
- Standing water, blocked drainage, mineral buildup, or failure to winterize fountains and plumbing systems;
- Freezing temperatures, overheating, thermal shock, or unusual environmental conditions;
- Scratches, dents, impact, vandalism, misuse, negligence, accidents, or deliberate damage;
- Damage caused by animals, vegetation, construction activity, vehicles, or surrounding structures;
- Repairs, refinishing, modifications, or replacement parts that cause or contribute to the reported problem;
- Natural disasters or events beyond reasonable control, including floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, storms, fires, and severe weather;
- Routine maintenance, cleaning, waxing, sealing, refinishing, or replacement of consumable parts; or
- Damage occurring during customer-arranged transportation, storage, lifting, or relocation.
Shipping damage is handled separately under our Shipping & Delivery Policy and must be reported according to its receiving and inspection requirements.
6. How to Submit a Warranty Claim
Please notify Origin Sculpture promptly after discovering a possible covered defect and within the applicable warranty period.
Email info@originsculpture.com with the following information:
- Your name and order number;
- Proof of purchase;
- Delivery and installation dates;
- Installation address and placement environment;
- A clear description of the issue;
- Photographs of the complete sculpture;
- Close-up photographs of the affected area;
- Photographs of the base, anchoring, foundation, or plumbing installation when relevant;

Please do not dismantle, refinish, discard, or return the sculpture or affected component unless instructed by Origin Sculpture. Altering the affected area before assessment may make it difficult to determine the cause of the issue.
7. Assessment and Resolution
After receiving the required information, Origin Sculpture will evaluate the claim and may request:
- Additional photographs, videos, measurements, or maintenance records;
- A remote video inspection;
- An inspection by a qualified local professional; or
- Return of an affected component with prior written authorization.
If the claim is approved, Origin Sculpture will determine an appropriate remedy based on the nature, location, age, and condition of the artwork. The remedy may include:
- Technical guidance or maintenance instructions;
- Repair materials or replacement components;
- Local or factory repair;
- Refinishing of the affected area;
- Replacement of the defective component; or
- Replacement of the product when repair is not reasonably practical.
Origin Sculpture will work in good faith toward a fair and practical resolution appropriate to the artwork and the verified defect.
Any repaired or replaced item will remain covered for the balance of the original warranty period or for any longer minimum period required by applicable law.
8. Costs Not Included
Unless required by applicable law or expressly confirmed by Origin Sculpture in writing, this Limited Warranty does not cover costs associated with:
- Removal or reinstallation;
- Cranes, lifts, scaffolding, or specialized access equipment;
- Site preparation or restoration;
- Foundation, electrical, or plumbing work;
- Third-party labor;
- Landscaping or architectural modifications;
- Storage or temporary relocation; or
- Loss of use of the sculpture or installation area.
Origin Sculpture will confirm the approved remedy and any covered costs before warranty work begins.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Origin Sculpture will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, installation, use, removal, or inability to use a sculpture.
This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Customers may have additional rights that vary by state, province, country, or jurisdiction.
